Asphalt Pavement Maintenance
Are potholes a problem? Proper asphalt pavement maintenance techniques are important for keeping your roadways in good condition. Learn the most efficient methods for preserving the integrity of your asphalt roadways so that you can prioritize projects and maximize maintenance dollars. At the conclusion of this class, you will be familiar with preventive maintenance plans, failure modes of asphalt pavements, best practices for pothole patching, crack sealing and filling, and chip seal basics. This class is offered as a 3.5-hour instructor-led workshop, in either classroom or webinar format. An optional field exercise may also be included with classroom workshops. Personnel, equipment, location, and traffic control for field exercises must be provided by the requesting agency.
